Jan. 26, 2015: CFS Winter Travel Advisory and Parents’ Association Meeting Notice
Students returning to CFS from the Long Weekend are encouraged to modify their travel plans in order to return to campus before dinner this evening. The snow storm and possible blizzard conditions being forecast are to start in the Exton, PA, area around midnight tonight. First and foremost, CFS values the safety and security of our students – please feel free to have your son stay home if you believe travel back to CFS is unsafe because of the storm and possible transportation delays.
We expect an accumulation of about 1-2” of snow between this morning and later tonight. Some bus operators have already cancelled travel for this evening, but are running buses this afternoon. Indications are that trains are running on time, but this could change in the afternoon. Please contact your travel provider should your son be taking a train or bus back to school.
Should you be bringing your son back by car, please do so as early as possible today in order to leave extra time for safe travel. Again, please feel free to have your son stay home if you believe travel back to CFS is unsafe because of the storm and possible transportation delays.
CFS will run pick up at the times posted:
Exton Train 5:20p
Paoli Train 6:30p
Paoli Train 7:30p
Please call the front desk at 610-363-7500 or the administrator on duty at 610-716-7982 to let us know if your son is coming in earlier and we will arrange for pick up at either Exton or Paoli station.
Also – the planned CFS Parents’ Association Meeting scheduled for this evening has been rescheduled to Monday, February 16 at 5:30 p.m.
