Jason Porter Selected as Church Farm School STEM Chair

Church Farm School has selected Jason Porter as its new Chair of the school’s STEM Department. In this role, Jason will oversee Church Farm School’s STEM team and curriculum. Jason has a strong background in and passion for biology and STEM instruction and fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments.
 
Jason comes to CFS from the Academic Solutions Group, where he has served as senior education strategy consultant since 2022. His primary role was developing STEM education programs for clients, as well as designing and implementing organizational design and leadership workshops. He has also worked at Building Engineering and Science Talent (BEST); kid-grit, LLC; TGR Foundation, a Tiger Woods Charity; KIPP Philadelphia Schools; and as an instructor at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Lehigh University and Miami University.

Jason holds a BS in microbiology and a minor in biochemistry from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and an M.S. Ed. in teaching, learning and curriculum from Drexel University. He is currently enrolled in Loyola Marymount’s Educational Leadership for Social Justice Program.
