"I saw this school as an opportunity to help me grow in ways that I didn’t know were possible. Over my four years, I have obtained a higher understanding academically while building lifelong friendships with my peers. I am thankful to all of the faculty and staff for helping me find who I am during my time here."
Daniel LaRue, of Coatesville, was attending a local charter school when he decided to make the transition to Church Farm School; his brother, David, graduated from CFS in 2017 and is currently a senior at Penn State University. Daniel is a day student who maximizes his time at CFS through a continual pursuit of excellence, whether that be in the classroom, on the baseball field or just connecting with his friends. Daniel’s advisor Tiffany Scott, Director of College Guidance and Strategic Initiatives, says, "Daniel lives out our core values of brotherhood, respect, responsibility and integrity every day as a Griffin. Even though he is a day student, he embraces the breadth and depth of our boarding community. Throughout his years with us, he learned what it is to live and learn not just amongst peers, but with brothers."
Ms. Scott has been working with Daniel, and all of our seniors, on their college lists. Daniel has currently been accepted to Penn State University and West Chester University.
