I am convinced that the education landscape will be significantly changed by Covid-19, and I feel the last six months have made me ready to take on the opportunity of leading Church Farm’s faculty in efforts to support school improvements and exemplary 21st century teaching and learning,” says van Steenwyk.
Says Head of School The Rev. Edmund K. Sherrill II, “Margaret is deeply committed to young people with a proven track record of educational leadership and achievement, particularly in the areas of curriculum and faculty development. In an age of adaptation, Margaret will bring maturity, balance, a listening ear and professional fortitude to our community in pursuit of our mission goals.” He continues, “I’d like to thank our Board of Directors and administrators and faculty who participated on our search committee, and I look forward to Margaret joining our community on July 1.”
