Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The CFS community honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this week with special activities of remembrance. On Monday, local filmmaker Tony Chennault (pictured left), a former Villanova Wildcats point guard, spoke to the students about his passion for creating films about inner city life, and the important role mentors play, especially for young men who might not have father figures of their own.

On Tuesday, students created "Dream Flags," a project developed by the Agnes Irwin School. Using cloth, pastel crayons and other items, each CFS student created a flag that represents their individual dream or dreams. The students then combined their unique flags into 13 larger flags that will be displayed throughout campus. Please check them out next time you are at the school!
