    Small but Mighty: Church Farm School’s 18-Member Graduating Class Earns Impressive College Acceptances

    Surrounded by family, friends, faculty and fellow “Griffins,” the 18 members of the Church Farm School Class of 2025 were honored on May 25 during Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies on the private boarding and day high school’s Exton campus. While the graduating class is smaller than in years’ past, their accomplishments are sizable.

    CFS Highlighted For Solar Power Use

    Last week, PennEnvironment hosted a tour of the solar installations at CFS and West Chester University to educate Chester County residents about the benefits of solar and geothermal energy, and how they can make the switch if interested. “There’s never been a better time for schools to use the power from both the Sun and the Earth,” said Hanna Felber, organizer for PennEnvironment. “Plentiful sunshine, constant temperatures from the Earth and generous clean energy incentives are here. Now more schools in Pennsylvania just need to take advantage of them." In 2013, Church Farm School installed a ground-mounted solar array large enough to offset 75% percent of its annual electricity usage. The array’s 3,500 solar panels are saving the school money on its utility bills, but also eliminating tons of carbon emissions annually. “

    Chief Advancement Officer Christopher Kramaric Named VISTA NextGen Superstar

    Christopher Kramaric, who joined the Church Farm School community on July 1, 2024, was recently named a VISTA NextGen Superstar. The 40 recipients of the award are recognized for being dynamic business and professional leaders, under the age of 40, who are shaping the Chester County's future. Christopher will be celebrated with other recipients at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center on May 8.
