Yale Whiffenpoofs Performing at CFS on November 17

CFS is pleased to announce that on Sunday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m., it will host the Yale Whiffenpoofs for a free, hour-long concert in the school’s historic Chapel of the Atonement. The Yale Whiffenpoofs are the world’s oldest and most renowned collegiate a cappella group, and have performed at Lincoln Center, The White House and Carnegie Hall. Founded in 1909, the Whiffenpoofs lineup changes each year, and is comprised of 14 seniors who perform more than 200 concerts each year in the United States and internationally (Cole Porter is a former member).

“We are ecstatic to be hosting the Yale Whiffenpoofs this year as part of our Chapel Music Series,” says The Rev. Edmund Sherrill II, Church Farm School Head of School and a graduate of Yale’s Divinity School. “The evening will certainly be inspiring to our own wonderful CFS Choir and CFS Singers a cappella group, our internal school community and the many old and new friends of CFS who we hope will join us.”

Church Farm School is located at 1001 E. Lincoln Highway in Exton, PA. The school’s Chapel, where the concert will be held on November 17 at 7:30 p.m., is located on its south campus. Questions about the event? Contact development@gocfs.net or 610.353.5333.
