Give Through Your IRA

As a qualified charity under the IRS, Church Farm School is eligible for an individual to donate up to a maximum of $100,000 of your required minimum distribution from your IRA without paying income tax on this withdrawal.  To qualify for this tax deduction, funds must be transferred directly from the trustee of your IRA to the school.  This donation will not be eligible as a tax-free qualified charitable IRA distribution if you withdraw the money from your IRA and later donate it. This contribution counts towards satisfying your required minimum distribution. We recommend consulting your tax advisor prior to making a decision relating to this type of contribution.
