August 2015 Suburban Life

“The value we received from the school far exceeds what my mother was able to pay, a situation that describes many of us. The CFS experience of hard work was great training for life.”

Message from the Director of Development

Church Farm School’s development efforts focus on developing and enhancing relationships. The school pursues ongoing dialogue and interactions across a wide range of constituencies—alumni, parents, friends, the corporate and foundation communities and our Chester County neighbors. Excellence in education, communication with our constituencies and service to the surrounding community are the goals of the CFS Development Program.

Because we believe that EVERY young man of promise should have the opportunity to pursue a quality education—no matter his socio-economic, cultural or ethnic background—many of our students pay only what they can afford to attend Church Farm School. As a result, tuition only covers 15% of operating expenses.

Our school’s founder, set aside land that has provided a significant endowment for the school, carefully managed by our Board of Directors and our professional managers. But in today’s economy, we need gifts more than ever to meet the school’s growing needs and to continue to ensure, as we did nearly 100 years ago, that family finances are not an obstacle to their child’s matriculation to Church Farm School.

Thank you in advance for supporting Church Farm School. Our doors are always open, so please be in touch.
