The CFS library is located on two floors in Greystock, the main academic building, across from the auditorium. A full time ALA and education certified Librarian with a Masters in Information, Paula Brown, directs the library with support from assistant librarians on staff.
25,000 volumes may be accessed by searching the library catalog or browsing the open stacks. EBSCO index to periodicals and numerous subject databases are available through AccessPA and Power Library.
The Academic Encyclopedia Britannica with juried web links is offered as a great starting place for research.
Weekday hours of the library are from the beginning of the academic school day until 4pm. The library reopens in the evening from 5:30 to 9:30. The library is also open Sundays.
Books are loaned by the quarter term and due at the end of each marking period or replacement costs will be charged.
We welcome student workers and suggestions to develop the CFS collection supporting the curriculum and cottage life. Please direct any comments or suggestions to Paula Brown, PBrown@gocfs.net.
