Introducing the CFS Class of 2013

The Church Farm School held its 91st Commencement Exercises on June 1, 2013 in the Chapel of the Atonement.  Thirty-two new alumni received their diplomas and Bibles from Mark T. Carroll, Chairman of the CFS Board of Directors and Rev. Edmund K. Sherrill, Head of School.  Following hymns, prayers, and anthems by the CFS Choir and the assembled faculty, parents and friends, Po Sung Kim ‘13 gave the Valedictory address.  Special awards were then presented.  As the ceremonies came to a close, The Rev. John Daniels, Chaplain, and Rev. Sherrill sent each boy out into the world beyond CFS with the traditional blessing on behalf of The Church Farm School and the Episcopal Church.

Members of the Class of 2013 are attending colleges and universities throughout the nation including Skidmore College, the University of Delaware, Babson College, American University, Susquehanna University, SUNY (Binghamton, New Paltz and Albany), Reed College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Drexel University (2), the University of Minnesota, Carnegie Mellon University and the University of California (San Diego).  They are also attending St. Olaf College, Saint John Fisher College, Colgate University, Widener University, Susquehanna University, Ursinus College, Kalamazoo College, Gettysburg College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Elizabethtown College, Syracuse University, Widener University, the University of Rochester and Swarthmore College.
